Stonehenge Pilgrimage

Creative project and essay created as part of the Occulture: From Magic and Myth Work to Care and Repair module, lectured by Simon O’Sullivan at Goldsmiths University of London 2024-2025.

Pilgrimage: 26th, 27th, 28th October 2024
Work Completed: January 2025
The work consists of 54 slides, including 59 original photographs, 3046 words, 1 hand drawn animation converted into a GIF and a bibliography.
Myself and two friends went on a pilgrimage to Stonehenge. This work documents that journey with a story-like structure and reflective writing approach. The intention of the edited photographs and magical practices involved in the work is not to mistify the site, but to encompas the inner revelations, emotions and personal experiences of the journey and location.
